Playing The SlotFather

So far, the majority of the slots that I have featured on this websites have all been by the same software manufacturer, called RTG. This is the software that many online casinos use, including most of the ones found on this site. That means that these casinos share the same casino games and slot machines.

Slots are all different and the rules can vary greatly. With that being said, here is how you play this game:

How to Play

1) You will start out with all 30 paylines selected, you can change this by clicking Select Lines.

2) You can change your bet size by clicking on the Choose Coin Bet which is located above your Balance. The range is from 0.02 and 0.50 bet per payline.

3) You can choose to change your Bet Per Line. You can choose to bet between 1 and 5 levels. These levels are multiples of the original bet.

4) If you choose Max Bet, you will always be spinning with all 30 paylines selected and at 5 Bet Per Line. This means you will need to be aware of what your Coin Bet is set at. Clicking Max Bet will make you Spin.

5) Click Spin and watch the reels go.

Winning Paylines

Because there are so many different icons in this game, it is easier to explain this by lumping them into groups. The first group are the ordinary symbols that need at least 3 matching on a payline starting from the left (1st reel) to the right. This group includes (in order from lowest to highest paying) Newspaper, Cigar, Map of Italy, Plate of Spaghetti, Tommy Gun, Pinky Ring and Bottle of Wine.

The second group are symbols that only require 2 matching on a payline (left to right) in order to win on a payline. This group includes the Car, Briefcase of Money, Sammy Quick Fingers and Frankie the Fixer. There are also two additional symbols: Fat Tony the Underboss and the SlotFather himself. We will see how these come into play in a second.

Instant Wins

One of the exciting features in the Slotfather is the ability to receive large instant win bonuses. You will see the two varieties of instant wins below.

On the left, if Sammy Quick Fingers is to the immediate left or right of the Briefcase of Money, you will receive the Sneeky Instant Win.

On the right, if you receive 3 of the Fat Tony the Underboss scatters, you will win the Underboss Instant Win. This amount can be raised if you also receive 2 of the second group of symbols on the same payline or if you receive 4 or 5 Underboss scatters.

Bonus Features

So, are you confused yet? Well we still have two special features to tell you about. You can take a look at the Free Spins and Bonus Features being activated below.

The Free spins is shown being activated on the left. You will need Frankie the Fixer to be immediately to the left or right of the Tommy Gun. He will then pick up the gun and blow several holes in the screen.

You will select one of these bullet holes and reveal a prize.

This will be a certain number of free spins and a multiplier for winning paylines. You will also see what was behind each bullet hole after you picked one.

On the right side of that picture is the Slot Machine Bonus Round being activated.

You will need to receive 3 of the SlotFather symbols in order to activate the bonus round. This will take you to another screen.

Playing Texas Tycoon

Texas Tycoon is yet another one of the feature slot machines at Slots of Vegas. This is one of my favorite internet slots games to play because of the big win potential. This slot has paid me more than $400 on a $1.25 spin in the past.

Of course you need to hit the bonus feature in order to reach a bonus so high. Not only did I select the oil tower with the most free games (see below), but I also hit a $275 line because I had 4 Oil Workers and the x10 substitute. This was a huge payout on the 5¢ line.

Below I have the payout schedule for Texas Tycoon. If you are accustomed to 5 reel slot machines, you shouldn’t have much trouble with this game. The Tycoon is the substitute that acts as the wild card and helps completes paylines. The Oil Well is the scatter which will win at least 2x your total bet on a spin if 2 or more appear on the screen.

The only other thing to mention is the Bonus Feature. This is the big win that you want to try to get in this game. In order to trigger the Bonus Feature, you must get 3 or more Oil Well scatters on the screen as seen below. You will get to choose between the 3 Oil Wells and reveal how many free spins you will receive. There will be a different amount behind each one.

Your free spins will start immediately. You can re-trigger this bonus feature if you get an additional 3 scatters. All prizes won during free spins is tripled. Combine the triple prizes with a x10 substitute hit and you can win hundreds of dollars in this bonus feature.

Playing Crazy Vegas

If you have read my other posts about 5 reel slot machines, you should have a good idea how things work overall. The differences between slot machines are the symbols and the special features.

In order to play this game, do the following:

Special Features

The Scatter and substitute symbol is the same in Crazy Vegas. It is the Crazy Vegas symbol shown above. The Scatter means that if two or more Crazy Vegas symbols appear anywhere on the screen, you will win a multiple of you total bet. The Substitute means that the Crazy Vegas symbol acts as a wild card and is used to help complete paylines.

Free Spins

There is also a Free Spin Feature that you can win. This only happens if you receive the Free Spins chips on Reels 2, 3 and 4 on the same spin. The Free Spin Chips will turn over to reveal the number of free spins or the free spin multiplier.

The first two chips will reveal a number of free spins and the third chip will reveal the multiplier. The payline wins during free spins will be multiplied by this number.

Big Bonus Feature

Last but not least, there is a Big Bonus Game that you can win. In order to do this, you must receive the Big Bonus symbol on Reels 1 and 5 on the same spin. The Big Bonus Feature consists of an outer wheel and an inner wheel that are spinning in opposite directions. All you have to do is press the Big Bonus button to stop the wheel.

During Play

In order to complete a payline, you will have to get three matching icons from the left reel across to the right. The one exception is the Limousine symbol, which only needs two matching icons. There is also a Wild symbol (the yacht) that will help match the symbols in order to complete paylines.

There are two special features in Mega Fortune: Free Spins and a Bonus Round

The free spins are activated when you get 3 or more of the Scatter Champagne bottles anywhere on the screen. They are called scatters because they do not need to land on a payline in order to win.
